Does anyone know if there is a big differance in the stock throw out bering and the ACT RB210 release bering??? I have a ACT 2600 and i want to replace the throw out bering. Can i use a stock one from valley imports or should i order one from ACT?? I already have a new throw out bering from Valley imports so it would be nice if i could use it. It just might be to much preasure for the stock part.

i dont know too much about aftermarket modded clutches, but if it is a stage 1 clutch kit, then your stock throwout is fine. any higher and I do believe it will be too much pressure for the bearings and will have premature wear.

Use a Mitsu one. I learned the hard way using one that came with an ACT clutch, it froze up and ate through the pressure plate fingers. ACT might ship OEM throwout bearings w/ their clutches, but you should check.

I think i'm going to use the mitsu one. i have the act throw out bering in right now(the one that came in the kit) but i want to replace it for cheap reassurance while i have my tranny out. thanks for the advice.

i got my tranny out and i noticed a few pieces of metal just hanging out by my clutch. this is a pic of my old throw out bering- the one that come with the act clutch kit. notice the back plate is broke in half and the bering was barely attached to the fork. i'm putting a mitsu throw out bering in. thanks for the advise
