a 3/s can do 150 in fifth gear with room to roam (with a 5spd tranny) so perhaps his 10 second motor is capable of 180. 180mph with no roll cage, harness, and "shitty" tires sounds like a suicide mission. .this car in stock form does 165 in 5th with the governer kicking it out...
this is a 6 spd. and it was governed at 155 in 6th.... as are most 6spd cars being governed at less of a speed in 6th then 5th....camaros Trans ams are governed like that also and so are the Nsx-t's as far as I know...not at those speeds that was just an EXSAMPLE........these are not shitty tires on this car the Kumho's are on my 1990 Grand Prix STE "turbo" and they are shitty tires in the wet of any sort......and CHEAP...

or save us all the time of calling u a lier and just say that ur car isnt a 11 sec car.

Well I dunno... my car in stock form only being 170hp pushes itself to 145mph top end in 6th gear with tons more room to go. Granted it takes a long time to get there... it gets there. My car in un-governed and if the little 2litre had some boost im sure it could easily see 160+.
Now no 420hp 3/S is capable of 180mph and thats a fact. Hell an svt focus with a vortec superhcarger kit running 12psi... numerous other engine mods and nearly 300fwhp struggles its way to 170mph and with a 17% drivetrain loss thats roughly 351hp at the crank... quite a bit of power for a light FWD car.
Id like to see a 420hp crank 3kgt push its nearly 4000lb ass to 180mph...
