Are you some kind of know it all? I know what my car is capable of and you dont think so or something? Like tufte said his integra LS did a 13 flat with intake cat-back and a 65 shot... I have a long first gear and also full interior trim. There is another SVT with a cat-back, intake, and exhaust cam gear with a 75 shot running a 13.3

No I've been around this game for a lot longer though, and am honestly tired of everyone saying they're gonna do this, they're gonna do that, and my car is gonna run this, and my car is gonna run that. Put some parts on it, tune the fucker, and get it to the track. Quit sayin you're gonna run 13s, 12s, 11s, 10s, 9s, 8s, and dont do anything about it. Show up and race.

Until then dont make "what if" comparisons. There are a few other factors also as to why tuftes integra went 13 flat and troys hatch went 13.3. Power to weight ratio, trans gearing, drivers, and traction. Just because they went 13.0 and 13.3 on 50 and 65 shots doesn't mean you can.

it's all in how the parts are tuned together, there are guys on honda-tech that run 11+ compression with 100+ n2o.

Your not going to get anywhere NEAR 250-275whp. Mark my words - with a built H22 and ANY local tuner (yep, I'm even talking about Shane from Elite) - you will MAX at 210whp..

            Just watch..

Your going to spend a good 5-6 grand to build a motor that would make the same power as your H22 with 4psi on it..

I know all motor is different - but there isnt a tuner close to you and there is no one with REAL experience building a NA Honda motor.. (and dont quote some stupid shit Sturdevants etc.. A motor is not a motor...)

Tell me a "good tuner" that can put a tune on a 250whp all motor car that is within 500 miles of here..

Closest person I would even CLOSE to trust is Super Dave from the Whip Factory in Chicago but I bet my pennies that neither of you haev even heard of him..

Shane from Elite is a joke compared to real tuners.. He can put a decent tune on mid-ranged turbo cars - but so can I and a handful of Fargo guys (Dave H, Matt F)..

                  Oh yeah --

And just to add - my TRUE opinion is that NONE of this will really happen and he'll stick with bolt ons - maybe spray a 75 shot on it and bust into the low 14s..

Talk is talk like GSR said..

Yeah, your right, i had the heavier car w/ less power from the get go (B18a vs B18b). Troy you know your Ebay header made all the diff too, haha. But nah those cars were fun and they refused to die. If i still had it, it woulda got a hundred shot, some cams and a B16 trans and went for an 11.

But yeah i thought you said you dont plan to build a serious race car so why even bother really starting anything serious in this car if you just want a JDM show car? IF you want something faster its gonna have to be in a diff chassis. If not juszt stick w/ what you got and spray a small shot on it and get the 14 you want.

So far i have ran 14.3 in my 94 civic hatch with a stock gsr motor. That was with a 2.4 60 foot on shitty street tires. Hopefully i can get the rest of the crap i need to to build my new motor and start showing people that all motor cars can be quick too

depends on how high you plan to flow... and how much you want to spend. custom built imports seems to not have a website anymore, might want to look around on honda-tech for them, they boasted of a scary porting job. www.totalflowproducts.com offers a variety of packages. i've also read good things about http://www.honda-performance.com/performance_services.asp?page=445

I don't have any numbers before the build, but I believe it was around a low 13 sec car. I should see mid-12's this summer.
