If your turbo setup hasn't changed the stock locations of you turbo or oil lines a WRX does not need (in anyway) a turbo timer. The way everything is set up feeds oil, even after the car is shut off, until the oil has reached acceptable temperatures.

well thanks, i got it hooked up. i found the instructions on blitz's website. it only came with instructions in japenese and i dont read japenese haha. yeah i know subys dont really need it but i wanted one any ways. got it for cheap so i figured what the hell.

How I remember the cooling of the turbo on subies working is since the coolant reservior is actually higher than the turbo itself as the coolant in the turbo is heated it will continue to flow up into the reservoir and continue to circulate until the motor/turbo cools down. 2 hours of sleep though in the last 30 so I'm a bit more retarded than usual.

How did the install go btw? Not too bad or PITA?

no actually the install wasnt that bad. once i found the ignition harness to plug into then it was easy. i had the harness for it so it was plug and play. took me about 20 min after i figured out what i was doing.

Ahh right on, wasn't sure if they required some weird splicing or something, never looked into them.
