4" exhaust
-
finished up my single 4" on the buick on friday. sounds really nice, and is pretty quiet. the front will be tucked up tighter when i re-do the downpipe, and the connection is just a piece of flex pipe for now, about 6" long. Overall though, its a nice fit and was pretty easy. took 3 90* bends and 1 45* bend. And yes i didnt care about the welds all that much, so make fun if you think you have to.

i would too.
dumb question here.
why 4"?
where are you planning to be with this beast? as in 11, 10, sub 10?Monty

well pretty much anything major i have to buy, or build, i make sure it will be sufficient up to around 1000whp. also the WoW factor of the 4" is pretty sweet, and it has alot better sound quality than a smaller pipe. not a fan of duals on a turbo car, so otherwise i would have done dual 3". once the motor gets built, rods, pistons, maybe a 4" crank for 408ci. thinking ill stay stock stroke and make it a 370, just spin it up to 7500rpm. that should be good for about 700whp, on pump gas. haha. then i need to step up to 80mm on the turbo, and get a rear end built, and go through the trans. but yeah im hoping to get into the low 11's at the end of the month in brainerd, did a 12.65@120 at the last tintmasters event, and i didnt really lay into it til almost half track.
