Well about a week ago i picked up a project bike... Its a 91 YZ250... Bought it for $600 needing clutch work, carb tuning, bars, and just some tlc...

Has only 1.5 hours of time on the new top and bottom end, main reason i bought it.

If you look closely at the pics you see that the plastics arent exact with the back of the seat, the frame is bent down about a 1/2 an inch starting right after the supports... They tried to fix it but they suck at welding and bending metal... I will be looking for another frame as the mounts for the rear plastics are bent up and not in the exact spots they should be...

    MODS:
    -Boyesen Reeds
    -Procircuit Pipe
-Pro Circuit 304 Factory Sound Silencer
    -92 Forks
    -Tag X5 Bars
    -KG Kevlar Clutch & Steels

Here are pics of the day i picked it up... Not the prettiest thing out there...

Tonight after cleaning up the plastics a lil(sorry the pics were done at night):

Note the oil on the ground is from a street bike that i did work on and the oil on the bucket is spooge from it running rich and misc gas from tuning the carb...

well since i am getting the 426 soon, this bike is getting a supermoto makeover and will be street legal. I will be using it as a stunt bike so its going to look a lil funny compared to a normal dirtbike. Im making my own one peice subframe and stunt pegs. Im also Making all the pegs solid to protect the engine. I look up to this guy, Ryan Moore, and have been talking to him about setup issues. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zIyCDizrow

Anyways heres the progress so far, and im also looking for a set of 17 in or 18 wheels off of a street bike that will fit on my axles.

here is an update. I started the supermoto build, ordered lights, and tires for the stock wheels as i dont have money for the 17's yet and am looking for some wheels off a streetbike that will work with my axles. i did some cutting of the rear fender and side panels as i wont be having numbers on the bike. it will be a street tarder.... I will be stunting it to. I also cut the left side of the airbox off and drilled some holes in the side panel.

here are the pics, let me know what you think....

well here it is after another night of playin around with the stock plastics... Cut the front fender down, and drilled it out for cooling... not the best and i may have cut it a little small(hard to tell until i get my 17's) let me know what you think of the fender...
