I don't think anywhere in FM would do it. It is nothing like your standard motorswap, even into a GP is a royal PITA.

If you can find the custom made axels it will require, you might be able to find someone to do it. But, again, there isn't much info available on doing that swap, unless alot has changed in the last year or so. and it will cost a really shiny penny, you probably could sell your car and buy a GTP and mod it for cheaper then the swap.

      PM me for:
      Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
      Diesel repairs or performance products.

lol! This swap take way more parts, and custom made stuff then honda or nissan swaps. its not just bolt in and swap a wiring harness. I was going to do one in my old GP. I would imagine, into a MC would be even more work. If its so easy then why dont you see them done? I know a number of 94-96 GPs that have l67s in them, cause i talked with them about doing the swap.

why dont you see it done more often? because they come in grand prix's....the grand prix styling is wayyy nicer than the monte carlo's so why would you even waste the money? but it has been done...many times, just not around here.

custom axles? screw that, that GTP axles will work fine, theres some different wiring yes, but in what engine swap isnt there?

I used to have a 97 MC and was going to do all the swap but decided not to, i just swapped in a 3400 motor instead of the 3800. I researched everytihng, found all the parts, but decided not to waste the money.

I think you need to read up a little more before you go on talking...

for the GP you needed custom axels because of the hubs, and lentght from being differant bodies and drivetrains

it will be a nice chunk of work, and if its something you really want to do, go for it, but you arn't going to find anyone local to do the swap. If your looking for a L67, I have one with low miles for sale.

anything pre l67 GPs. aka before 97. its easy to swap a car to a motor it comes with from the factory.

i am the one that put the bug into his head about the L-67 swap. and to be honest it is not as bad as what it being made out to be.
the first resource http://www.l67swap.com/ it is not that exact URL anymore do to changes, but it can and has been done. motorswap.org is what the banners say on that sight now.
there is a 96 grand prix in the twin cities area that has had the swap for years now. drives it races it and shows it. there is/was a couple 95-99 monte with it done as well. they were somewhere in MN as well.

not to forget if you hit up www.clubgp.com there are a few on there that have done the L-67 swap into various GM cars. from fiero's to cutlass's, prix's, even a ciera had the swap done to it.
                        so it is possible.
that first link though should provide you with alot of good info as far as what is needed. might even score some help or info on a Monte forum.

not saying a newb can do it, just saying it can be done and is not as bad as what it is being made out to be.
