Thing is if u repair it (if it's cracked or something) u'd think it'd be a bitch to balance and get it with little road force on the tires, beings there would be a heavy spot in the wheel.

I believe all racing hart rims are forged. Anyways, I used to have a set of one piece C4s and I hit a rather large "unmarked" bump on the highway and it bent the inside lip, outside lip(not bad enough to notice) and cracked the middle section about 8 inches. A friend of mine a sledgehammer and good solid 2x4(for a striking surface) pretty much fixed the inside bend and I had the crack welded with an aluminum welder. After it was fixed I took it to a tire shop to have a new tire put on and explained to them the situation and told them to just get it at close to balanced as they could. After it was back on the car I couldn't feel any noticeable imbalance while driving even at highway speed and beyond, I put the rim on the back instead of the front in case a problem should arise but it never did. Also, as far as getting a new rims, I searched around google a bit and it seems as though the C4 is discontinued with only a few sets of multi-piece C4s still floating around.

I didn't see any noticeable excess of wear on that tire and if there was any vibration I didn't feel any of it while driving. I took the car up 90+ mph and it ran good. I actually sold the rims to guy in fargo, he had a newer prelude at the time, never heard anything back from him so I'm guessing they where good to go on his car as well. Plus, the racing harts I have now have been repaired, DAMN RAILROAD SPIKES!, it went in the tire and punched whole in my rim. I made a patch out of heavier gauge aluminum and had it welded over the hole, it had pin hole leaks though so I sealed the outside with a layer of epoxy and it did the trick.
Although, if I wouldn't have been in such a damn hurry to get it back on my car I would've taken the tire off and sealed it from the inside instead, the air pressure from the inside eventually made the expoxy on the ouside come loose and leak but it took a long time for that to happen, well over a year.
