Biggest derailment of a thread EVER! I love it!

A comic but still a cat. VVVV

i think you have to look at what the cars were made for? I love Chevelle's and Camaro's......i mean...think back 37 years ago 450hp and 500ft./lbs. of torque from the factory with the LS6 in the Chevelle? that car was MADE to go fast, hell low 13's from the factory is not bad almost 4 decades ago then you have the honda, nissan, whatever I own a chevelle and a honda, both are fun to drive, but anyways, the honda likes to scoot around and get great gas mileage while still being fun to drive....i don't particularly feel safe driving it, but it's definitely got it's advantages, I feel for drag racing any muscle car with some actual muscle and not a V6 imitation is the way to go, 1) raw power and some small block chevy's are a dime a dozen 2) rwd platform, where does all the weight go under acceration? right under those back tires for even more traction 3) that sweet idle of a lopey cam and then there's always 4)....they'll always get women too
but then the honda's you can pretty much do the same thing with but it does get a lot harder to make them quick once you start hitting 12's where as any nova with a big block will pretty much do 10's out of the box...and as for road courses, the honda is more agile unless it's matched with a corvette/porsche..etc. but anyways I drive my hatch for gas mileage and my Chevelle because old body over frame cars with a lot of power are such a blast!!!......so there's my take on it -
