pfft, another one of those turbos that are so trendy these days.

runs fine... broke the plastic piece off the intake which recirculates the Bypass valve, so it doesnt idle.)(nothing a little duct tape can't fix), but other than that it runs fine. Put on the new Intercooler and it works great. turbo is really loud and probably needs to be rebuilt/replaced. Need to find a new intake pipe and then she'll be back to running like a charm. washed the car and it looks a lot better now.

I think the turbo is beyond rebuilding status. On spool down, I hear what sounds to be metal-to-metal contact. I think the fins are all bent and shit. But I'll find out this weekend probably.

Edit: oh yeah, i reset the ECU and it adjusted to the atmosphere vent. idles right at 950 rpm and runs like a champ. Now if only the turbo didnt sound like it was going to explode...

I plan on removing A/C shit tomorrow.
plan on the following mods(for now, if I keep the car, I will be doing the expensive stuff:
-Probinator Chip(45)
-Maf Adapter and cone filter(on the way)(20)
-MBC(10)
-T-bolts on stock piping(if I continue to have problems)

• 2.5" exhaust(free, make myself)
  -ported/ aftermarket 02 housing (?)
  -2.5" downpipe.(70)
  -Recirculated DSM BOV(30)

I plan on taking it to sabin and getting a base run w/ basic weight reduction(probes passenger seat and rear seats = 100 pounds) and a MBC. I also plan on taking off the exhaust at the track.

Not when I drove it....wouldn't idle at all, lol. Boost is fun....
