      He's got a lot of toys, cuz he can afford them. Like I said he didn't get where he is by doing bad customer service or bad business.

        from what i have seen shane is awesome and he would not put up with that...i know he is for sure here for the benefit of the scene

          I was in his shop once or twice looking at rims for a stang...didnt get much help really but didnt ask lol...guys that were working there at the time didnt seem too nice though.

            I can honestly say they have helped me whenever i have been in there, i walk in and they ask my how i like my car and what i'm looking for and what i need help with Jason is usually the one who helps me with everything

              They do that because obviously they know what you drive if they are asking you how you like your ride and because there is a lot of money they could get from you.

                They have been really nice to me when i go in there, they know what i drive because i have to tell them what im buying stuff for. Never had any problems with them.

                  Ok, since the name has been said I will say this: They do about 20% of the work on my car and the only time i had any problems afterward we worked it out in a way that benefited both of us (and that deal was between shane and I, so please, for those of you who know what went on, lets leave it at that.) I don't know who you spoke with Joel, but I'm sure shane would be interested in knowing who it was. As for the only liking imports....not so sure about that, he has/had some domestic toys of his own...not disputing what you are saying happened in your personal experience, just adding my $.02

                    But in there defense, they have always treated me very very nicely, and I have seem them treat there customers (from my point of view) in a very respectful manner. They are one of the largest, gross revenue, shops in town and I don't think they got there through bad customer service.

                        I didn't start this thread to bash any shops, so don't get me wrong. It's Just that everytime I go in there, they look at me like I dont have a Credit Card in my pocket, and that I dont want to buy anything at all. The retail business is full of this shit and unfortunatly it probably always will be. I believe I talked to Jason, But I'm not sure. He's the one who runs the counter, so thats my assumption. I wa stold by a friend the very same day to go there instead of one other shop because they had a better price than that. I know that they are the largest and grossing the most revenue in this town, but treating people like that is not acceptable by my standards. No one else should judge the shop because of an experience I had, but I definitly will. I figured there was some other people who are fed up with it, so I posted this.

                              No shop war needed, no drama needed, I rarely even have time, or wish to bother responding to this, but I got a free minute and think some stuff needs to be addressed. #1 I manage this store, and Shane owns it so if a customer EVER feels that they are not treated with proper respect, or that they are 'shunned' when they come in they need to let one of us know. Our personal cell phone numbers are listed on our business cards and we are available for issues of this nature any time of the day or night. As far as you calling and getting treated poorly, I can't say who it was or what the reasoning was, but to address the issue I personally apologize. You did not talk to me (Jason), cause I am the one who helped with the order of clutch for your buddy.... And I am well aware of our account with ACT... Regardless I apologize for a bad experience with tintmasters. Being there seems to be multiple posts that 'this shop' doesn't do anything with domestics, I guess I would like for any and all of you to swing by and see what we do on a semi regular basis, and at this exact moment we are working on a turbo kit for a Firebird.... I would have to say if someone came into the shop and asked me personally for a edelbrock double pumper 750 with twin exit niner's I would say sorry I cannot help you. It isn't because I DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU, but rather I feel that the gentlemen at Performance Auto, or elsewhere in town would be better suited for it. If I was out to make a dollar everytime a customer came in I would sell you your double pumper as we are an authorized Edelbrock dealer.... I just forsee that you would be better off dealing with someone more educated, and able to offer superior tech help than I/we would. As stated over and over and over and over everyone has the right to shop where they want, yourself included, so if this experience has caused you to never want to step foot in this door again, that is OUR loss and hopefully wherever you shop in the future treats you well. Nothing personal from my/our standpoint, I just won't allow things to go on and on and on on the drama section of this forum without at least commenting. Bottom line, I apologize if this happened to you, and hope in future you will give us an oppurtunity to serve you right.

                                Very well written Jason and very mature for not starting a big pissing match about all of this. You (nor I) know exactly what was said and/or why. You can't please all the people all of the time. Joel, I don't blame you for posting to vent a bit, glad you didn't post the name of the shop in the original post and sorry to hear that whoever you spoke w/ couldn't/didn't help you.

                                    That is correct, and now he has a 2005 Magnum.... Domestic as well, so I feel bad that certain people get the impression that we WON'T work on domestics, there is just things that we are not educated enough to offer proper answers or suggestions on certain domestics....
