well, the 240sx has actually been my favorite car, and reason for 90-93 is because thats the years with the hatch style.

I dont know, I'm really looking for an at least "somewhat" stock 240. But if ya do decide to put it up I'll consider it.

your Z can be modded just fine. Just need to research it and not have plans like RB26. I also would not even plan that for a 240. Those motors are good, but unless your got 15k laying around its not worth even thinking about it.

                      also why 90-93?

                      15k??

what the fuck are you talking about, you lost it?

you damn well know it takes another 1500 to 2000 over the price of the motor to get it in. that comes out to exactly HALF of what you said, sure not cheap at all, but definately not 15k. Stupid faber. :icon_rr:

let me guess..... you think you can just throw a rb26 in astock 240sx, without suporting mods. like susp., some sort of wheels other then the shitty stock ones, clutch, driveshaft?, maybe rear end?

thwere is more to it then buying a motor and wiring it up to run.....

he was talking about butting a RB in a Z31 300zx.

also do do a RB swap right in a 240, IMO it take more then 2000 besides motor cost. (mounts, D.s. LSD, wiring, gauges, exhaust, FMIC, while motor is out do basic maintance on the motor. also being a RB 26 you need a Rb25 tranny, also either convert to single turbo or do custom DP,

ZOMYGOD! no one can do a custom DP! Why are we even talking about the 26 anyway when the 25 swap makes much more sense.

hmm didnt know that it was a z31

                                BUT

seriously, its like i havent actually DONE this before. top hat mounts, custom drive shaft, even front mount and a vlsd, maybe i was on the low end, even so, its at least 5 thousand less than what you said. Sure, i african american engineered my RB, but doing it right, and doing a 26, is nor 11k more than the 25. thats just not true.

anyways, did this guy find a 240?
