But since you work in ND, you are contributing to our GDP, not MN's.

yes and no....I would say both. (goods and services+ government spending)+ (exports - imports) I support both economies.

first hand experience, id rather travel 3 hours to minneapolis then 3 hours to bismarck.

not because obviously minneapolis is better city then bismarck

but the drive on 94 through north dakota is enough to put a bullet through a mans brain.

Driving to Jamestown is crappy enough, let alone Bismarck.

The overall index ranges between 0 and 100. An index number greater than 50 indicates growth, and an index under 50 forecasts a sluggish economy for the next three to six months.

                              Minnesota: Home of 10,000 lakes, 350,000 fishermen, 100000000000000000 mosquitoes.........and 8 fish.

Don't believe me? Go to Devils Lake/Sakakawea some winter and count all the Minnesota license plates....or go to the Rugby area during Goose/Deer season and do the same. Apparently all those lakes ain't doing shit for you.

I'd like to see you try and count the number of ND plates on I94 heading down to the cities on a Friday afternoon/evening.

That being said, MN blows. It is the fucking nanny state. The Peoples Republik of Minnesota.

Don't believe me? Go to Devils Lake/Sakakawea some winter and count all the Minnesota license plates....or go to the Rugby area during Goose/Deer season and do the same. Apparently all those lakes ain't doing shit for you.

And all the REAL fishermen/hunters go to north/northeast/central MN. About the only wild game that ND excels in over MN is Pheasant. My dad and I caught 36 Walleye in 4 days in MN this last June. As for deer...haha...I don't think you'd even want to go there.

Which is why I have people from the Mille Lacs area that come to ND to deer hunt instead of hunting closer to home? Which is why one of the guys in that group just spent $500,000 for hunting land from my dad (deer hunting land, zero Pheasant there....and I mean ZERO.) I've been deer hunting in MN before (Northeast of Roseau and East of Warroad), and found it to be nothing super-special. I can usually fill my 3-4 deer tags in the first 3 hours of the season....and thats if I'm being super picky about the deer I want.

Lets see, on my friends land in MN I got my deer a couple years back in all of 30 mins...when I go west of fergus there's hundreds of them. And fishing wise, it's prob just a change on scenery...our walleye lakes > yours. Also, for bowfishing, what i'm into I dont see many people in ND even doing that. As for people going outa state for fishing...I probably see over 100 ND trucks with boats drive by my house every weekend in the summer going out to fish...If your fishing was so great all the people wouldnt pay the crazy high prices of MN non-resident fishing licenses to go here. You guys also have higher limits and better seasons for duck/goose hunting, like the spring snow goose season
