Worst first car
-
I want to know who had the shittiest first car. The first one you owned and the one you learned to drive in, if they're different.
The car I learned to drive in was one a skylark like the one below only not nice. It had a vice grip to shift the 4 speed and lots of rust on the emerald green body:icon_puke_r:
The first one I bought for $600 blew it up shortly therafter. Freaking GM and theur goddamn electras.

The car I learned to drive in was an '88 beretta bought new in '87(my parent s car that eventually became mine)but I think the shittiest car was a, forget the year, plymouth K. Talking POS, "Your door is ajar, your door is ajar.", NO IT ISN'T! THE DOOR IS FUCKING DOOR!
   -
The first car I learned to drive was a 2000 Dodge Caravan. I guess that is not as shitty as some but it def. is pretty lame to drive. Everytime you would ever remotely try to get on it something would happen to a sensor in the tranny and it wouldnt want to shift right anymore haha. Drove it many miles, back in forth from Sauk Centre to Bismarck as well as to Chicago... all with my learners permit... of course my parents were present.

My first car was my SRT-4... although I have had two other dailys since then.

1949 International KB-3 was my first vehicle. massive heavy steel truck, with a 48 HP engine, straight cut trans gears, manual steering and manual brakes. I had it up to about 45 once. didnt go fast but damn that was a cool truck. I sold it to go to college and I've been kicking myself ever since. but it probably wasnt the best vehicle for a young kid to drive. it would total damn near anything with how heavy it was.

I have no idea what I 'learned' to drive in.... I was sitting on one of my parent's laps by the time I was old enough to see over the steering wheel. Driving old farm pickups by the time I was 11 or 12.
My first vehicle was an 82 oldsmobile delta 88. Tough starter, ran like shit, and the shocks were shot. I was damn hard on that car.. finally traded it in on the thunderbird.

Learned to drive in my gramps 53 Bel Air, 3 on the tree, too bad it was a four door. First car was a 72 Pontiac Ventura (Nova bodystyle) decent car but couldn't drive it until I had a license for a year, in the mean time I had a 87Subaru Justy ( same as a ford festiva)1.2 liter 3 cylinder, 5 speed. Downhill it could pull 75mph, I could still pick up chicks in it though.

hmmmm.... of my "daily drivers" I had: 1984 Mercury Marquis (Parents car), 1983 Pontiac Grand Prix (My car, but my parents drove it all the time), 1989 Ford Escort (First car that was titled in my name....most fun car I've owned, excluding my subie, thing had one of the baddest ass stereo systems I've heard to date installed in it and I drove this car HARD), 1996 Plymouth Neon (shittiest car I have EVER owned....EVER, good thing it had a warranty, because I used it literally every month that I owned the car), 1990 Chevy S-10 4x4, 1989 Honda Prelude (best handling FWD car I've ever been in), 2002 Subaru WRX, 2006 Nissan Murano
