I got a ticket for loud exhaust on my old civic a week after I had bought it. Didn't have all the parts from the guy I bought it from...which included the silencer. Bitch still wrote me a 120 dollar exhibition ticket. Two years later and I still haven't paid it.

It's fargo in general, the tickets cost more than anywhere else, the tickets get written for trivial shit more often than anywhere else. It's about making money and getting paid. It's more of a business than a public service anymore.

And if you were warned once and you still did nothing, then you deserve the ticket. You think the cop wouldn't know you were pulled over for it in the past? Why do you think he takes your license back to his car with him? Obviously he's cheking your record and even warnings both verbal and written can show up.

i think he ment tickets are more here than other places in the state.
and of course MN tickets are going to cost more, they need to keep those well preserved highways and BRIDGES as nice as they do, never the less the upkeep of those great inner city area's

well this whole exhaust thing is BS anyways me and a buddy got pulled over 2 years ago and we were right next to a cop he didnt beat on it shifted at like 1500 RPMs and we still got screwed and pulled over for his exhaust!!!WTF is that? Its ghey. But yeah just pay it and move on man...Also isnt usually a week or so when you have to pay it? Not three days?

I don't usually crooss the river unless I absolutely have to when I'm in Fargo. Just nothing over there I want or need.
I do remember one time I was with some friends and were out cruising and saw some dude getting a sobriety test, when we drove by later the cops were gone,he was gone, but the car was still there, sucks for him.
