I'm new here and hoping someone can help out.

I need a replacement windshield for mine which is cracked. It's for a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3. The crack isn't too bad now but I'm afraid that with winter coming, it'll only get worse.

I've checked one place that's done work for me before and they charge $250 installed. Does anyone know of a place that'll do better?

    Thanks in advance. :icon_salut:

Oh yeah....I apologize if I've posted this in the wrong section. I wasn't sure.

I've had nothing but good results from Dakotaland Autoglass. Also a cheap price shouldn't be a major factor of where you get it done, qualtiy costs $. A windshield is definately a safety item.

what about getting one from a yard and then taking that to a place to install?

does everything have to come with a warranty for a person to buy it?
                i do not think so.
as i would imagine the cost to be less doing it this way.

I know a guy that works for SafeLite and he does a good job, not sure on the price but all the ones I have had him do have been under $200, with the exception of my GS300.
