modded saturn?
-
i was able to find a company that makes aftermarket parts solely for saturns. there selection was pretty limited, but i was able to find an exhaust system, intake, suspension, some little engine tweaks. thats pretty much it.

i believe www.rsmracing.com has parts for saturns...i havent checked it since i was into modding my grand prix

like i said, sls would be happy to help you with getting parts and installing them. the basics of what you will need are the following:
fuel pump 100
fmu +/-100
turbo manifold 100-500
turbo 100-500
smic <200
piping -cost dependant on ic
exhaust 100-500
misc +/-100
see? you can make it work for less than 1k, esp if you know people who are getting rid of used parts in favor of bigger (smic for a fmic), etc. if you do the work yourself, still less expensive; that's why you need to look at all the possibilities before ruling it out. i'm telling you, every performance shop in town (with the exception of those that don't know turbos) will be happy to help you figure out what you need to make your project work. [red-green]i'm pullin' for ya, we're all in this together[/red-green] is kind of the mentality of the motorheads around here -
changed my mind about modding the sat. gunna keep trying to change my parents minds about getting me a new car. i do feel my dad is giving in a little.

id like to see a a 60-1 under the hood of a saturn...even more so id like to see that econobox hold together with that sort of power.

i don't know... drop a 60-1 into a 2300lb car (a little weight reduction and you could get to 2300 w/driver), run 10psi and your lt1 would be in the rear view in short order... from a roll (add slicks and lsd if going from a stop)
lol!......I have a hard time beleiving that. I would love to race one of those from a roll.Or even better, at a dead stop.
This makes me giggle.

....you must not know much about his car
edit...spooly by 5k leaves you less then 1krpm to make power....

tall gearing imposes a lot of load, so i think it wouldn't be too hard for it to spool by 5k in low gears.
all it needs is 2-250 to walk on an lt1...
In a saturn with a red line of about 6500 rpms, it wouldn't work, unless you had a ton of work so the motor and valve train would rev higher. Also, I have ~500 crank hp and ~ 580 crank lb ft of Tq. There would be no walkin unless he would be walkin backwards.
