tint

so i jsut had a quick question i was hoping someone could answer for me, so on my passenger window there is a bunch of tape residue on it, if i try and take this off with a razor will this scratch or take off my tint as well?

You'll probibly take the tint off, it's not hard like the glass.

but goo gone wouldnt harm taking the tint off correct? i was gona try that as well but wasnt sure

I dont think it should...ask the guys at Tintmasters, they should know if it would.

Yes a razor blade will scrape tint right off. I'd try soap and water first, if that doesn't work, try some glass cleaner, if that doesn't work, try some rubbing alcohol.

Make sure it's ammonia free glass cleaner. I learned that the hard way...

So what happens if you use ammonia on tint? I only use ammonia free Windex on mine, but just curious.

It basically eats through it. Makes it all white and spotted.
