Very nice website and I applaud you for trying to do something good. Y94 as a
station would have a couple of problems in promoting this event with you though...Number one, we are primarily a station for women, and you endeavour is predominantly
male, so we might be a poor fit for this.Second, if anybody were to visit your website, I'm quite sure we would get some
complaints from people who see your organization as one that encourages illegal
street racing. We can't take that kind of a risk, especially with the tendency of
some of your users to brag about their exploits in your forum (I saw one post from a
guy talking about "owning" another guy, plus the profanity is pretty vulgar). Some
of your users even have pictures of their cars performing illegal acts on the street
as their avatar.Please don't misunderstand me... I like motorsports as much as the next guy, and I
cuss with the best of 'em, but our station can't be associated in any way.May I suggest you contact our sister station, Rock 102? They don't have to be as
stuffy as we do since their audience is a little more tolerant.Thanks for thinking of us.

i think he thought owning was used in the context of "i totally owned that sweet jdm civic last night." whereas most of the time its used like "troy dayton is too fat and ugly for tv. owned"

Very mature....I am sure if he did read this, he definatley would change his mind. I mean talking crap is not going to change the outcome. There is vulgarness all over this website and it probably people talking about illegal activities. So instead of talking crap about him maybe take an alternate route that maybe would consider us next time.

Well, the majority (in my opinion) the most listened to radio station (comparing the two, Rock 102 and Y94) I think that Y - 94 is more "re-knowned" than rock 102....So getting hooked up with Y94 would be more beneficial. Just my .02

I'm with brian on this one. Fargostreet is fun for all of us, but i'm sure to some outsiders it would look pretty vulgar, and most peoples car scene knowledge stems from Fast and the Furious.
It's all good, they are running a business, and its not even a hard decision... if thier target audience is women, who would disapprove of the site, theres no business of putting it on air.
