i like how you keep looking at all these different 240s and other cars like you really need to buy one. maybe you should fix the one you have first, or just sell it and buy a 240 and get it over with since thats what you obviously want in the first place. At least your learning something about them in the meantime though. But just for future reference, go to google or wikipedia first, it took me all of 10 seconds on wikipedia to figure out 3/4 of the shit.

Well, reason I am looking for a car is because this summer my dad and I (with some help from josh when he gets back from boot camp) we are going to turbo it. I will have a job and will also need a car, so I figured why not get a car that I could actually keep for a looong time? I was thinking ahead on this ordeal.....get a car to drive while my Z is torn apart. simple.

Why is the SR20 the more desired engine if its smaller in displacement, that means less power potential to me? Is it that much stronger than the K motors? Also how hard would it bet to put a RB26DET in one? There that should stir the pot a little.

SR is wanted cause its factory turbo, revs higher, and supposedly has stronger internals. But lately 1/10 SR coming in from what i have scene requires rebuilds and more then that go boom with in 4-5months. Parts are way more available cause these motors have been modded in japan for over 10 years

KA is a very torquey motor. Just doesnt rev past 7k with out building the whole head. and if you have ever road in my car it doesnt need to rev past 7k well if i could it would be more fun. but it scoots the way it is

rb26 would require over 10k in parts to get running right, not including labor. unless you are a skilled fabricator and mod and go single turbo from the start.

Cause the sr is more jdm...and from what i've heard they dont hold up as well... Some people put in the RB25...and if i remember right (faber will probably pwn this post) but the RB26 is from an awd...
