Black Friday net sales

black friday sucks, it really dosen't make any sense to me. Most of the sales arn't that good anyways, maybe save a few more bucks that friday than any other, but having to wait 2 hours to get to a register and dealing with all the people and traffic, isn't worth it.
I worked at Menards last year on black Friday, I wasn't in sales so I just got to stand back and watch the chaos. We had no good sales, but a good ad that made things seam cheap. Had hundreds of people waiting outside the store before it opened and people were trampling each other to get their cheap shit. Most retarded thing. I saw 2 ladys get in a fight over a dvd player that was on sale $5 cheaper.
Its a day of mass confusion and chaos, I would sugest no one ever go near a retail store that day. I know I am gunna be in a warm garage piecing backtogether a wrecked car.

just find somebody that works at the place you want stuff from. they usually get a good employee discount on whatever it is you want.

I've always gone on black friday, but mostly for the computer geek stuff... they have a 320gb HD at best buy (SATA) for like $60... 100 pack of DVD+r's for $6
There are also really good deal deals on Plasma and LCD TV's there...
Bunch of TV series on DVD for $15 (and all HBO series for 50% off)...

Menards sucks on Black Friday, Joel i close as well on Friday and trust me its gonna suck.....opening shift is way better, you dont do anything but tell people where shit is literally and closing shift we will be stuck cleaning up the mess until the entire store is cleaned up......ive heard theyve been there as late as 1am before...Ive never had to close black friday yet....

Best buy is a fucking joke. Im not standing there for 8 hours again just to find out that the lifeless pimple faced headgear wearing twirps that skipped thanksgiving with thier family to set up a fucking tent in front of best buy complete with generator (cant stop playing video games for more than an hour you know) are allowed to grab up all the tickets for everything (sometimes a few grand worth of tickets) and then walk up and down selling the tickets for anywhere from $50-$xxx (negating any 'sale' price) only to sell the merchandise that they do buy on ebay. the first 20 or so people in the line take ALL the tickets, regardless of if they plan on buying the product or not. I guess best buy could take a stand and say no scalping the tickets but that would require effort on thier part. Fuck that, black friday has been ruined by these people for me two years in a row. Anyone who defends this bullshit faggotry probably owns a PS3. Just saying.

I got my HDtv a couple years ago, the 32" widescreen crt. It's very heavy but the picture kicks the crap out of most LCD and plasma i've seen, plus it does 1080p (not mentioned in the specs) so bonus. I looked at the really cheap laptop and I realized what i was looking at was a VERY CHEAP laptop. should work for basic functionality tho.
