Got a Ticket

Ok i was driving home from work this afternoon on i29, same as i always do, i was doing about 80 as my speedo was floating in the 78 to 81 range, i look in my rearview mirror and see a fu$#in tarus crawling up my ass, so i look to the right to pull over as this guy is about 5 car lengths behind me and closing, and all the sudden i see from the corner of my eye is see a snow cloud and lights! I figure no big deal hes pulling the asshat in the taurus over, i look in my mirror and see the taurus pulling to the shoulder, But no this asshole HP bypasses the taurus and crawls up my ass, so i pull over, he walks up to my car and slaps my trunk hard enough that the car moves! and then walks up to my window and goes on with the typical cop question, (Do you know why i am pulling you over today? ) so i reply no, now mind you my speedo was reading about 80, and he says i clocked you at 89. so now a little agrivated i said "my speedometer read 80, you locked the guy behind me" to that come a stupid blank expression from the cop, followed by a license and registration, so i hand it to him, he leaves, and comes back with a 20 dollar no seatbelt ticket, (no surprise there) and a 65 dollar speeding ticket!!!!! Ok now i am really pissed, so i said "this is bullshit! you are giving me a ticket for someone elses speeding, that guy was crawling up my ass! " still another blank expressionless stare from this prick!? and he says "well? would you like to contest this ticket? " so im like hell yeah. and then this dick says "well you have a nice day." to that i replyed "Merry Christmas fuc*face!" so when i got home i called a friend back home who is a former EDDY Co sheriff and a PD officer, Explained to him my situation, and he immediately said contest it, he says that the radar they use will lock the faster of the two vehicles (which was the tarus crawling up my ass) and this cop doesnt have the common sense to see the tailgater and put 2 and 2 togather!!! WTF, now, Yet another bs experience from yet another errogant ND HP Prick! maybe i should lend this prick cop my golden eagle radar gun manual to read!?

just be happy you werent going faster or pulled over by a city cop. the ticket could be alot more!

ok , as far as im concerned the seatbelt ticket is not a big deal, and for that matter as far as im concerned it should be like a helmet law over 18 its up to you. and also i have passed a hundred other cops doing 5 over as it is kind of a habit and have never been pulled over, so the speedo must not be that far off. but that being said it would be one desperate cop to pull someone over for doing 5 over. and no generally i have no problem talking to cops, i am usually very respectfull to them, now ones that start by belting the trunk of my car as they walk up, and then give me a ticket that the prick closing on my ass by 20 miles an hour deserved i dont like much , apparently this tard cant proplerly operate his radar equipment, the gun locks the fastest of the two cars, common sense tells you the guy tailgating the first car is fairly likely the one speeding cause tailgaters are usualy the ones in a hurry to get somewhere, now i would like to see what anyone of you here would say to a cop that starts his introduction to you by smaking or hitting the trunk of your car hard enough to rock it before he even gets to your window. i guess after all it is the end of the month and HP's are still one of the the few agencys that have quotas to fill, so apparently they have to get them one way or another.

On the ticket side thats kinda gay but you'll get nowhere fighting it unless you have video tape of the other car pulling up on you. Trust me I fought one my word against a cops and lost miserably.

Man, this sux...granted, you could have held your composure a lot better...the speeding ticket sounds like bullshit...i know you dont care bout the seatbelt ticket so i wont even bother with it...i would take it to court and have written documentation that states the radar picks up the faster of two cars...i think that's the best you will be able to do. Also, maybe bring you cop friend with you and have him state the facts about the radar as well?...Granted it prolly isn't worth your time with the 65 bux...it is worth it to be a pain in the cops' ass IMO...If they never have to go to court and never get a challenge, they will continue to place blame where it shouldn't be...

Now thats not nice......lol, and as for my opinion on this, I too think its pretty gay for doin just 5 over and being pulled over for him making a "user" mistake with that radar gun.
