Understandable, and we get links like these every once in a while. I felt that this time I had to come in and defend the forum and appologize for some of our members that's all.

I only read the first 3 pages, so I don't know what was said. And sure a civic can corner better and weighs less. The grand prix has its pros and cons too.

I like GTPs, they are WAY WAY better then the 4.0L Olds Aurora in the garage next to my 240. Sucks to drive in anything other then dry pavement. and for being a luxury car no room.

I assume you're talking about the aurora. But the gp was never meant and isn't a luxury car.

As for handling, there's things we do to make our ride handle better (all of which I've done), just like you guys make your cars faster on straights.

Honestly, its a decent looking car that has potential to be fairly fast. Props to you for liking the car you do. Some of us on here have different tastes and opinions on "fast" or "cornering" abilities. No problem there, as they are just that....opinions. Find any car out there and you will find one form of enthusiast or another for it. It doesn't mean that their cars are better than your car or my car, but that they have different tastes/needs. Which is great.

I have to say, the first time I raced a modded GTP I was surprised. I got STOMPED in my WRX (Ryan something or another is the GTP owner from Bismarck, ND)....and I thought my car was kind of a sleeper back then.

I was talking about the big ricer wings (unless they're actually functional)... OEM, JDM/EDM and tastefull after market ones (like off real aero kits or knockoffs of them) stuff are cool... Not like the grand am I saw stop into work with a parkbench on the trunk...

Yup, talking about the aurora.

My car well more then likely get kicked of the drag strip this year. And, once I get my driving ability up to the right level, the car has TONS of potential in the corners as well.
