Recently (feb. 1st) I purchased a kz650 from delfast, a member here. I leve near aberdeen, South Dakota. A few of my friends wanted to go the the Monster Jam show at the Fargodome, so I saw this as a great opportunity to go pick up this bike. This seemed very convenient since my friend was driving his dads new avalanche to the show. He was going to pull a little motorcycle trailer up there, and in return I was going to give him $50. Everything was lined up, when he decided he didnt want to mess around with a motorcycle that late at night. I got a little pissed off, and spent the whole day figuring out how i was going to get my bike.:icon_scratch: Then it hit me, nobody said it had to go home in one piece! I had the master plan to disassemble the bike, and stuff it into the minivan we were bringing. Everyone thought I was crazy. We showed up at delfast's house, with tools in hand ready to get dirty. I'me sure he was very surprised when we told him we planned to bring it home in a minivan. Front forks/wheel came off and were wrapped up to keep grease off of the leather seats. Same treatment for the swingarm/wheeel area. After bike was stripped down to just motor in frame, we realized that the bike was a mere 2 inches too long. But thats nothing a sawzall cant fix, haha. To everyone's amazement, the job was done with few major sacrifices. We fit an entire motorcycle inside a minivan with 5 passengers( exhaust had to be sacrificed because we ran out of room). The ride home wasn't near as comfortable as the ride up. Everyone was a little packed, but everyting went pretty smoothly. God Damn Hillbillys:icon_rabbit:

Wow, your friend is an asshole. It's cool you figured out a way to get the bike home though.

      Pics don't work.

That's too bad. I wanted to see that bike since I almost bought if for a project. What are your plans for it?

well, as it sits now it is chopped even more. back part of frame is cut off, and ready for a hardtail frame section to be welded on! Thats right, Jap Chopper. Gonna go for the old school boober style. loud, low, whitewalls, black, etc.
