Ahhh...I see the problem. I just clicked through the first screen and package A/B of the ST/SLT listed the 4.7 so I didn't go further w/ them. My bad. I still haven't found where they list a higher towing capacity.

Yes, there is a good chance it will pull/haul every week for work....as for the 10K worth, who knows? It's nice to know I can if I want to though.

Towing capacity is usually limited/rated by the trucks brakes. I could prob tow a 30k load with dodgezilla but it would take me about 17 miles to come to a stop from 60 mph. Of course, if you have trailer brakes, then that doesn't matter. My truck actually stops faster pulling my empty trailer than it does stopping by itself. Trailer brakes FTW.

Not only is that Toyota ugly, I have seen one in action and was unimpressed. I have yet to drive one but I have driven a few of the new F150's and the build quality of the interior is top notch. Reliability i don't know and I'm too lazy to check, but driving that truck is like driving a cadillac. Its freaking quiet in there, and the ride is pretty good, for a truck. Honda missed the mark with the Ridgeline, but found a niche market, the Raider will die a quick death as i have yet to see one on the road, the Titan is a great truck no complaints save for the looks those trucks are fugly. So for that matter are the new Chevy's Dodge's, and Ford's. The Ford is by far the best looking one and its still kinda ugly. Chevrolet's new trucks are ugly, but the Tahoes, Suburbans, and Avalanches look OK I'm not sure why. Same thing with the Pathfinder Armada, must be the way the lines flow or something. Aside from being ugly the Toyota nearly shook itself to pieces during a torture test I saw, I can't remember where tho.

also Truck of the Year at Motortrend, Truck Trend, and a few other minor publications as well.

I like the truck. I see nothing wrong with getting one that has the most power.

One question though. Why do you need a truck for your new job?
