White Prelude and Dark Accord

Last night i was outside of my work shoveling and noticed two Hondas parked one behind another at the gas pumps, the prelude seemed to be adding oil in his car while the other waited. when they left the prelude tried to show off i guess, idk anything about V-tec but it didnt seem to take off very quick if it was a vtec.

Just wondering if they happen to be on this forum....

Honda Prelude:
1997ish
pearl white
stock wheels
exhaust
(two males)

Honda Accord:
1995ish
4-door
dark maroon/black
exhaust
(two males?)

That most assuredly wasn't vtec.

i know of two pearl white preludes in town... both h22 i believe, and one was boosted. accord i have no idea, and if that prelude isnt vtec, im guessing they arent from around here... could be wrong.

i know the guy who has the prelude. what do you want to know about it? don't think he's a member here. i know he has a buddy with a 95ish accord. no idea if he's on here.

that had must have been them then, so whats up with the prelude then? mods? anything besides the foldgers can?

haha.. yeah.. i helped him put a stainless cat-back on there last fall.. he's got an intake and some other goodies, upgraded clutch. h22 vtec, manual, in pretty decent shape really.

that accord supposedly has cams, and i think just a can on the exhaust.

I could be wrong but isn't all 97+ preludes comes with VTEC? There's the base and type SH. The only differences between them is the ATTS suspension.

i think you're right (but i've never paid much attention to 'when and where' with vtec). i threw it in there in tribute to the owner, i don't think he's ever just said "h22" without "vtec" right in there behind it. =D
