This is the 2007 Ford Shelby GR1 concept car. If Ford decides to put it into production, potential buyers can expect to pay around $200,000 for it. The entire exterior of the car is polished aluminum, and it has liquid cooled LED headlights.

There was more to the email! I didn't see this part. So that is what the car is, it also has a v-10 in it.

no, the V10 has been around for a while now sitting on shelves in the back of Ford's plant. It started off in the concept Boss Mustang a few years ago, but that project was scrapped... Ford wanted something "big/huge/exciting" to put the new V10 in...
It was slid back into a late model mustang for some heavy testing before heading for the Cobra Concept...and now the Shebly GR-1.
(not sure if it carries any resemblance to the HD V10 found in some of Ford's new pickups)

Polishing the entire outside of the car is a stupid idea IMO, but whatever I guess.

The Ford GT motor on the other hand...
That is an Aluminum 5.4L DOHC topped with the larger Eaton Blower (M112 I beleive it is)...

The actual motor isn't used in any of FoMoCo's other cars, but it's a bears a close resemblance to the Iron 5.4L DOHC in the later Navigators.

          you're point?
hell we've got a V10 in the new F550 under our new fire truck...
find them in quite a few of the new heavier duty fords...

but like I said, I don't know if that V10 shares any characteristics with the V10 used in the GR-1

okay, so the 'performance V10' is a smaller displacement motor. Was wondering if it shared the block atleast... guess not.

What's wrong with the 6.8L V10? Granted it doesn't have the power/torque of the Diesels....

its just like the v10 that they put in the dodge trucks its a POS and has really low numbers for for a v10....not talking about the srt10.
