Hey Chuck, how about those Green Bay Packers? So, how about those Green Bay Packers?
It looks like the Vikes have two possible chances to get the 2 seed and a first round bye....First, the Vikes must beat Atlanta this weekend and then...
If Carolina beats NY this weekend and we beat NY next weekend, we get the 2 seed. Carolina would be the 1, MN the 2, and NY the 3.
If NY beats Carolina, we would need to beat NY the last game (at home) and have New Orleans beat carolina the last game. Ny would be the 1, MN, the 2, and Carolina the 3.

Tampa needs to lose to either SD or Oakland, both at home, to have a shot at the 2nd bye, along with Carolina losing at NO if NY wins on sunday night

bench tjack again and they wouldve won

Explain.he was playing scared, he cant handle the pressure... he would throw the ball to a guy 2 yards ahead of him and he'd be tackled within seconds, 1 good play out of 10 isnt very good. Vikings defense almost won the game for them. If it wasnt for Shiancoes ability to stretch and jump to catch his shitty throws they wouldve gotten spanked.

Shitty throws? Most of those "shitty" throws are exactly what separates an NFL QB from all others. Today he showed the ability to put the ball where he needed. Not every throw will be on the numbers, and the game doesn't require that. In the 4th quarter, he got a little happy feet in the pocket, but they failed to change the scheme for Abraham being able to pin his ears back and rush the passer. The let him be singled up with RYAN COOK. Am I the only one that seems something wrong with that situation? Jackson was getting hit, and was still able to make BIG plays with his feet in most of those situations. I don't care if Jackson was perfect in this game or not, but I will say that if Gus played that game, he would have been eaten alive with his inability to move in or outside the pocket. Bottomline, Jackson was the least of our worries in that game. If anything, he was one of the major bright spots in a game we'd rather forget.
By the way, those catches Shiancoe made are catches that should be made by NFL Tight Ends.

so he made 3 good passes and ran the ball good 3 times? but fumbled twice, missed 1 snap, and threw 20 other horrible passes...hmmm
There was a reason he was benched after the second game, and today he showed those skills again.

Ha! I can't believe that Tomorrow I'll be rooting for the PACKERS!
A team I woudl never hope to see win, I am hoping will win tomorrow.
Weird, huh?

I'm confused...did you watch the game? He fumbled once, which ended up being a very odd play, the other was NOT his fault, but by stats it is his fumble. It is up to the back in that situation to secure the ball. It was exactly where it was supposed to be, AP was just concentrating on hitting the hole and never got a feel for the ball. He threw more than 3 "good passes", and didn't throw 20 "horrible passes", considering the fact he didn't even throw 20 incompletions, half of which were him being smart and throwing the ball away.
To compare him to the first 2 weeks, is outrageous. What else do you want the guy to do for us? He more than managed the game, not to mention him having a QB rating of 98.5 for this game. If there is any single person that may have cost us the game today, it was AP. He has been less than reliable for ball security lately, and I think now we should start to be concerned. He has been warned specifically that his fumble could prevent us from reaching the playoffs, much like it did today. If Jackson can have games like today in the playoffs, and we don't shoot ourselves in the foot, we should be a pretty tough team. If we weren't a good team, we wouldn't have been within 7 points after the game we played...
Like I said before, He didn't lose the game for us.

To defend TJack, his son had a pacemaker put in the when he was starting earllier this year, I doubt his mind was clearly focussed on football. Now we hear his sons doing fine, and you can clearly see how much more comfortable he is in the pocket.
I wish he'd use Berrian more. Rice can't be found with a serach light, but he wasn't really tearing it up with Frerotte either.
