So like 2 weeks ago we got a letter from the "fargo marathon" thinking it was just going to be some bullshit advertiesment for the marathon or something along those lines so we just threw it away...

Well I get up this morning and see this:

After talking to our neighbors we find out that letter basically said "hey the marathon is going right in front of your house and the street will be closed all day so don't plan on going anywhere." Megan has to work tomorrow from 8-4:30 and it's my day off....so much for going anywhere. Now I'm going to have a shitload of people in my front yard half the day and a shit smelling port-o-potty sitting on the berm for god knows how long, fucker will probably get blown over tomorrow night and spill shit all over my yard.

I had the same thing on the first year of it. They did not tell us anything about having it on our street. My Dad and I were heading out to the shop to work on crap, and we had like 20 people run at us and tell us we could not drive on the street. Needless to say, people don't stop cars. We just drove on out.

For you, I would be out there like a Hawk and be a total ass and make sure everyone pics up thier trash. Also, looks like a good day for the dogs to be out, doesn't it?????

Well, I've already got garbage in my front yard (inside the fence) and the sheriff has told me to keep my dogs inside....it's going to be a long day.

EDIT, NOT EVEN 10 MINUTES LATER....

There is now a large crowd of yuppie douchebags in my front yard cheering wildly every time someone passes by...I sure am glad my house is on the route for the 5K, 1/2 marathon, and full marathon.
