So this ia the situation, after last last sundays incident with ohms dsm his std coolant ran under my car and now it pulls hard to the right hardcore under hard acceleration and jerks back after i let off... I havent hit anything so nothing should be bent... Also the drivers lower ball joint has stripped threads so the lower control arm moves. That a possible culprit? Fyi i am ordering a balljoint 2day anyway... Lmk HELP haha

i believe the ball joint is part of the control arm on a dsm. i don't know if the ball joint can be ordered seperately. If that isn't "the" problem it is "one" problem that needs to be fixed. When i did mine i just replaced the whole lower control arm. not to bad of a job. post back after you replace it.

So you have a stripped ball joint and you are still driving the car?

On 2g's you cannot replace just the balljoint, however on 1g's you can. On 2g's you have to buy the whole control arm. Just need a BFH or a press;)

Forgot to post earlier... Replaced the balljoint and shes good to go.. Section of the threads was stripped so the control arm had up and down play... 20 dollar ball joint and a hammer got her in and out in about an hour
