RX-7 dyno day @ MA performance
-
Hey guys, Yesterday was a lot of fun down in plymouth. For those of you that didnt know, we hosted Steve Kan from Gotham racing to come up from Texas to tune our cars. Steve is one of the worlds best car tuners. He has done over 550 cars and known for his excellent work.
There were some pretty nice cars down there. most of us made over 400hp. We did have some issues. the first car of the day was a beautiful blue FD with a T51R Single turbo did he made 414hp @ 18psi but that was because he was loosing a lot of compression.
The green wide body had an HKS T04Z and made 444hp @ 15psi and race gas before his fuel pump maxed out.
I made 424hp @ 15psi with my T04Z. My boost was limited to 15psi because of my stock map sensor. My coolant fans would not turn on so we had to hot wire them from the battery just so I could dyno.
I left before the last two cars went. One guy had a T04R and the silver car had a GT35R. But over all it was a good day and a freakin blast. I will post some pics of the cars and here is a video of my dyno @ 15psi.
The white FD is their Shop car that has a 4g64 swap and a Bullseye Power S380 Turbocharger pushing 814hp w/out NOS. they are shooting for the 1000hp range. That car is sick
