I realize this but we're still the same state where Bush defeated Kerry by 90,000 votes, Bush defeated Gore by 80,000 votes, Dole defeated Clinton by like 20,000 (all big numbers considering our population) and so on and so on since Lyndon Johnson.

Kinda shocked when I checked this the other day, as McCain had a substantial lead a few weeks ago.

as for obama having more votes.. remember the democrats' caucus was open for most of the day, versus the fifteen minutes or so that the republicans had. Time does factor in to the number of people who were able to show up and have their say. (still, shocking numbers of people on both sides!)

a bit of exaggeration on the amount of time, yes. wasn't it like six or eight hours for democrats, versus 1.5 to two hours for republicans?

I agree that Obama's tax plans are confiscatory, but if he loses I don't think he'll go around taking peoples houses.
