For any of you interested, the Devils Run car show will be held this year on June 3, 4 and 5 in Devils Lake, ND. This is a very large show that generally draws 3000+ cars from around the country (mostly muscle cars/classic cars.....but that can't change until we show up). There are seperate awards for imports and under 21 contestants as well, so there's a pretty good chance you could win something if you show up. From the sounds of it a few of the crews from Minot and Bismarck and maybe even Dickinson are planning on making a showing @ this event, it would be an IDEAL time for those of us in Fargo/Moorhead and Grand Forks to show up and see whats happening in the other half of the state. http://www.greaterdakotaclassics.com/events/devils_run.html has more information about the event. I have a few contacts in the area and they have told me that they are trying plan on having 1/8 mile drag races and also possibly and AWD Dyno. If you are interested I'd start calling around for hotels NOW. I know the comfort inn is booked, but you might want to try the casino (spiritlake casino....1800-WIN-U-BET) to see if they have any rooms available. I will probably just bring a tent and camp out for the weekend.
Hope to see you all there.

hey nick (dudewee) can I stay at ur place if I go?

It sounds like a good time, I hope everyone in Veritas can make it.

it's more like 1 1/2 from GF to devils lake, but yeah...about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get there.
-
Anyone who has been there before...are there a lot of 3/S in this show?
-
I've been there the last 4-5 years, I have yet to see a 3000GT or Stealth entered in the show. Quite a few civics (relatively speaking), a couple acuras, and a few low riders come to mind. Hopefully this is the year that the imports make a strong showing. Forgot to add that in past years the imports have had their own show within the show, meaning that they have been judged by people who are at least interested in the scene and not by an old hot-rodder that doesn't know what a turbo is or doensn't know that there is a MAJOR difference between APC and Sparco seats...etc.
