you shouldnt have to defend why you delete posts, but when its in RYM i dont think you should be able to pick and choose when you are or are not going to go with the rules of the forum.

Please send me a link where it states "Posts may not be deleted in RYM". I agree with you that it is not always serious and a lot of stuff is fair game on here. Just some things are inappropriate and need to be taken care off. If your wife just cheated on you, I dont think you would want "send me nudes" or "give her the donkey punch comments" either. If it is that bad on FS, I know of another sweet forum where everything goes no matter what. www.mistercmk.com He never deleted a thread or post there in his life.

I gotta agree with Smit here... although it is RYM, a situation like this does not need the immature little kid comments. Yes, it's RYM where anything goes. But he was also venting his rage, which is where this thread would belong.
There's comical relief, then there is complete immaturity. Maybe 2 of the 10 or so posts that were deleted were comical relief. The rest were just a waste of space that Mike probably didn't need to read in a situation like this.
