Well.. Finally got some pics of it.. unfortunately, the quality kinda blows.. but I just figured I'd snap some shots for you guys to get an idea of what I may be entering in p10, pending we get everything completed on the car that we want too.
bumpers are getting replaced, headliner is getting worked on, engine bay needs to be cleaned, there is some coolant leaking so we are pulling apart that shit to fix it, needs to be buffed once more, then a complete clean in and out. oh, and the dashpad will be black.

For a car like that, you should really have SLD do a complete detail for it. Well worth the money. What motor do you have in the car?
This reminds me alot of my first car. It was a '69 Malibu with the 307. Mine wasn't as nice as yours by any means but that interior looks very familiar.

Kat, the dash will be black probably this week. and we have the seal for the back window, just haven't put it on yet. That will also be done shortly.
The exhaust is getting done today.

Thanks for the comments. We are still deciding on whether to enter it or not. We still have over a month to get things completed, so we will see. I'd like too.. but depends if things get done.

The Malibu option package doesn't detract from what it is. OS Muscle baby. Show it. If you need resto-mod parts for that, I have a friend locally that is a Chevelle auto salvage specialist and he will most certainly have all the cool stuff that may be missing in your ride if so desired. Center console, Buckets, black dash, round guage cluster w/tach, etc. P.M. me and ill give you his #.
The amount of work needed there isn't monumental. I did all that stuff and more on mine when I had it. Which on those bad boys didn't take long because they are so easy to work on. I wish it was here. Id work on it for you for free just to see it get done in time.

Heh. It will be done in time I have a feeling. It will be in the Show tonight at OK tire I believe if we can get it back from the exhaust shop in time to clean it up.
As far as it being done in time for p10.. probably will be. It's not all my car, so it's gotta clear with my dad as well before it will be in p10. I'm hoping we can do it.. and I'm sure he will, but I don't have a garuntee for you guys yet.
And yea wes, not monumental amount of work, just tedious as my father is a picky bastard hah.
We bought the car for 800 bucks... and look where it's at now after only 1 year of work.

Heh.
Exhaust is almost done, just went and checked on that.
Gunna buff it today.
Bumpers will be ordered this week as are new panels.
Dash will be black in the next week or two.
Window seal will get put on whenever I get to it.. Won't be hard.
Hardest part now is the engine cleanup and fixing some leaks. It over heats too, so gotta fix that problem as well.
