240kph indicated, shortly before hitting fuel hard-cut for rev limiter (not speed limiter). This was in an Opel Astra 1.6 rental car in Germany. It took many minutes of downhill Autobahn to get going this speed. 240kph is around 148mph btw.

Here is a picture of me driving a BMW E46 3 series wagon with a 2 liter diesel (and 6 speed stick) from the same trip. The diesel did not have the top end of the Astra and I never got it above 230kph (indicated). Notice the 5k redline. We got very good mileage from that car, however

Calculate using the tach....speedos are inaccurate anyways, especially if you changed tires.

150-155mph on the front staight of BIR. We will not go into stuff that was not at BIR

I did the speed calculator for top speed using gear ratios and all that and it is 174. If I use my slicks its between 185-190.

Riding:
I have been 140+ in multiple vehicles.
