It made 900+ now. They just ran it last weekend and went into the 9's basically first weekend out.

I think it said he was planning on TT but I could be wrong. With just the few bolt ons he has he shouldn't have a problem running high 12's

VQ35 swaps are becoming common swaps in a lot of different Nissan vehicles and there no slouches even being NA.

For the most part I agree with Nick on this, the only real exception I see is the EJ22T from Subaru...and that is if we are talking stock vs stock internal capabilities. The 6 bolt 4g63 guys make amazing power, they are fairly readily available, have good aftermarket support. The EJ22T guys make good power, but for lack of availability you often see EJ257's used instead.

Not a bad upgrade if you wanted to stay NA. But as far as price goes you could get a vg30dett and do a few nice mods and make WAY more power than a VQ.

IMO, the only upside to the VQ is that it is a lot lighter. Thats it. It doesn't make as much power as the VG30DETT out of the box...so its worthless to me.
