WTF people. The car scene here in Fargo is Dying. WTF is going on. Almost everytime we have a meet, its pretty pathetic. Why arent people participating in events. Autox events here are getting almost as many out of town participants as there are from fargo. thats pretty bad when there is only 15 participants. Are people just getting bored of the scene. Half of the poeple that participate on this forum never go to any of these events or are even seen out in public. What do you just hide behind your computer. But its not just fargo's scene dying, its other places as well. I am in minot right now for a wedding, and its more pathetic here. A few years ago it was pretty average here. Now its just shitty. Full of riced out cavaliers and shit. But Fargo, WTF!!!!!

I have not autocrossed in fargo yet. But, I have autocrossed at out of town events. I will be hitting up as many as I can now that the Red car is almost ready to go. Same goes for the drag races.

i dont get balls deep in the cruises and other events becuase i just tend to get bored with slow show cars. not many people around here are even bothering to put time into their cars unless its to looks good at the ONE local show we have. im not into show cars i like racing and it seems that most people are just out to look good in their car.
we need to bring back the glory days when people would actually mod their cars then ACTUALLY RACE

Fargos scene is still better than GF. Other than show and shine night, the most ppl that are ever out all together is maybe 10 cars all year, any given night it is probably 3. I admit I don't ever go out and cruise really but that is because when i do, no one else is out.
Alcohol is cheaper than gas now too, so yea....

Getting stuff rolling at 8:30 strikes me as a bit too early. Kid is barely in bed and there's other stuff to take care of while there's still daylight left. By the time I'm ready to dick around at nite its like 10 or later and I have no idea where people might be.

No you dont have to race in order to be apart or participate in the scene. If you read what I posted it also said other events as well. That includes meets and car shows.
Yes ending up in a parking lot is weaksauce. I agree.
But Its not just show cars out. My car isnt a show car. LOL.
The scene just isnt what it used to be.
