It's funny that you say you drove like an ass hat and that people in this thread complain and complain and complain about that killing the scene and what not...but yet they would never say a damn thing about you killed the scene. So is it only certain people that if they drive like a dbag they are killing it? Whats the criteria exactly so i get this straight.i couldnt tell ya, all i know is that nobody really told me to "stop" driving like that.
i do remember a time earlier this summer when me and moses almost got t-boned at taco bell by a dumbass not watching where he was driving. and we all got on his ass, but i dont think i have ever said something to people driving like dbags. shit me a travis had cowboy hats on one night and were ripping through gears like crazy.
unless it was when we were trying to bs in a parking lot and an rx8 (not anthony) was doin cookies right by us.

what i got out of what you said was that people on here are saying that others (myself included) driving like morons kills the scene. but in fact we do it ourselves.

WTF people. The car scene here in Fargo is Dying. WTF is going on. Almost everytime we have a meet, its pretty pathetic. Why arent people participating in events. Autox events here are getting almost as many out of town participants as there are from fargo. thats pretty bad when there is only 15 participants. Are people just getting bored of the scene. Half of the poeple that participate on this forum never go to any of these events or are even seen out in public. What do you just hide behind your computer. But its not just fargo's scene dying, its other places as well. I am in minot right now for a wedding, and its more pathetic here. A few years ago it was pretty average here. Now its just shitty. Full of riced out cavaliers and shit. But Fargo, WTF!!!!!I didn't bother to read any of the posts in this thread besides the first, but seriously there has been a thread started saying this exact same shit EVERY SINGLE YEAR since the beginning of time.

well damnit, lets start racing. some good races everyweekend will bring out the REAL scene. and more of the OGs will prolly swing out
-
i hope to not see an upswing in street racing in town
if you set something up, please do so on deserted roads with radios and spotters at both ends (and no ingress points in the middle). Otherwise you're looking to get caught and more importantly involve other motorists.
Cops and other drivers don't get upset about racing they don't see because it doesn't happen anywhere near anybody.

I think I just got too old. LOL
Actually, the racing in the countryside became unsafe and I didn't feel comfortable out there anymore. People use to patrol themselves and if someone did something stupid everyone would get after them. Last time I was out there were people standing in the middle of the road and there are cars/bikes returning from the runs going 80 mph through the people. No thanks.

Gotta be honest guys, I live right by the 29/94 interchange and I hardly ever hear anyone ripping down the interstate! I'm disappointed I thought I'd have a front row seat all summer long.I'd try to help you out, but I already get acused of "drag racing" on I29 when I'm not.

WHy does everyone think because people dont street race the scene sucks, i bet atleast 15 members were racing on sunday, and 50 members were watching... the scene doesnt just mean cruising/weekly meets. Show up at some drag days, car shows, auto xs. It furthers the "scene" more than parking lot standing...

I havent been around you guys all that long, but I have been around cars all my life. I love cars, I love driving them and I love bullshitting about them. And its going to take a lot more than some stupid kids or gas prices to keep me from my passion. I dont care if there is 2 people out or 200 people, if I have the urge im going to go cruise just because I love doing it. shit, I bet i cruise 3 nights a week by myself.
