i got the 60 gig that is backwards compatible but for some reason i can not get the guitars to connect and when doing research it says because they are digital controllers and the ps2 version is analog.this is very true that the 60gb is backwards compatible and i think that the 8 gb that just recently came out may be to but not sure... the new guitar hero will kick ass!!!!! drums now(which totally defeats the purpose of GUITAR HERO) with symbols... should be cool though... sorry for the post on a thread thas almost a month old....
