Why police are worthless

When I did my ride along last spring we stopped at JC Chumleys in Moorhead and unlocked some girls car. My girlfriend has locked her keys in her car several times and Moorhead PD has always showed up to unlock it for her, free of charge. This thread is, like almost everyone has said, one of the dumbest things I've ever read...

I wouldnt want a cop touching my car they are not qualified to do the work...they would hack it up not good god thing I have a brother who is a locksmith.

I didn't even know police did unlock peoples cars. It wouldn't even occur to me to call the cops if I forgot my keys in the car as it's not their job at all or their problem.

Curts lock and key: 35 bucks

Was for me about 2 months ago.

40 during business hours, 60 after.. rates went up a few months ago.

extra keys: still a couple bucks each. carrying extra keys and not feeling AS stupid when you lock a set in.. priceless?
