My P10, Bitches

Still running or not Scott's deserved best of DSM hands down look at the two cars.....Show was awesome but i too am sketchy on some of the trophies handed out scotts car getting 2nd being one of the major ones also parkers car not winning anything? I wish there could have been more places for some categories as well like for my class GM car there was 5 of us there My G5, Mikes Fiero, The clubredline Fiero, Ion Redline and the ET Cavalier, and only one trophy and the winner of that trophy wasn't even at the show.....just his car for ET's booth. But overall show was great lots of awesome rides and a good time.

Tony never ever stops detailing his car...hard not to give it to him.
Scott Blodgett's car would have won if it had the proper prep time and everything would have been completed. Plain and simple. Scott Keller's car covered many of the same areas that Scott Blodgetts car does (less the body kit) and is very cleanly done. Try putting yourself in my situation on that one though, I have a car club member (keller) on one hand and a shop sponsored show car on the other. Scott Keller honestly couldn't have cared less about winning, so I can assure you there was no pressure on that side to give it to him. It came down to points and myself and the other 2 other judges (not affiliated with any group in this event) scored Keller higher than Blodgett.
As for the other Awards:
Weshole 3rd place Mazda (seemed fair, he covered almost every base)
Fallguy 3rd place Ford (seriously...do I need to justify this one??)
DaveH Best performance (again...do I really need to justify this?)
Stephen Bradley 3rd place Mitsubishi (again, covers every base)
Tony West Best detailed....yeah, no contest IMHO, it's not like he hasn't won this before
Scott Keller DSM (See above paragraph)
tjamz Best Subaru (I BEGGED AND PLEADED to not win this one, hell I asked to be removed from competition. I didn't judge my car and made sure that I pointed out the best features of Shaun Cardinals car to the other two judges. This one was not in my hands) -

Like I said, I have a vested interest in Scott B doing good, he is a shop sponsored car, but he didn't score as well given the criteria that the judges were to judge on.
also parkers car not winning anything?
What should it have won though? It has a motorswap, which is really bad ass, but does it have a body kit? Does it have ICE? Does it have a lot of suspension work done? Answer: Not to the extent that others did. I love Parkers car, but he understands how judging works.

I have no control over # of trophies per class. Sorry. But seriously, Chase's car is bad ass. Sorry we couldn't make everyone happy.

I guess i didnt notice any paint mismatched on scotts car my bad there or the gaps didnt go past his roped off area to get that close up of a look, and parkers car i know he has a ton of money into that car and just think it should have taken 3rd Mazda and im not saying Chases car isnt nice, i know it deserved to beat all the other gm cars hands down i just think its lame that he was able to have the car entered and not even be at the show, did they ever even fill out a mod list for the car? When i looked at it it was blank and this was pretty far into the show.

okay, so in order to win best detailed, you just gotta clean ur car the whole time?
Even tho i never seen the engine bay or interior of his car to see if it was clean..
The outside of his was very clean although it is a 08 with like what 3500 miles i think he said? -

Who got best of show then? We left before all the awards were handed out. -

You sure seemed really interested in ParkerWhat? I get along with Parker. That by no means automatically makes me want him in VR. We just got done thining the club out to a more moderate level. The last thing ANY of our members wants is someone new. (unless you know some top secret ninja shit that I dont have a decoder ring for). I really hope you dont think I or anybody else was trying to recruit him. I know I never said anything to imply that.

Congrats to all crews and winners. Congrats to playtime performance on having a sick set up. Ethan, you really did a great job.
Great pics Darrick......I think that was my 2nd and a 1/2 NOS of the day.

Buddy McClurkin - Best of Show (Motorcycle) & Best Sportbike (Street)
Ethan Seigel - Best Sportbike (Race)
Bill Olander - Best Engine BayI will address this, only because of the countless people that have confronted ME about it, and I wouldn't mind having a solid answer for them .......... can/will any of the judges chime on the "Team" award and how that is/was chosen?

He's a great guy that brings a lot to whichever group he is in. I occasionally kid around with him about joining that "other" group and would welcome him to Veritas at any time, but I am not actively trying to recruit anyone at this time.

Simple math there.
