No iv seen Bluray. I have a 1080p monitor and i honestly dont see THAT much of a difference that would make me want to go out and re buy all my movies. And for gaming? Please...bluray as it is now is pathetic for gaming.

Depnds on how big of a monitor your running. if your running some little 32" and under tv the differences in high def aren't going to be very noticable. would i go out and rebuy all my movies? no upconvert does a decent job but i do only by blueray if im buying a new movie. 420<1080

360 has an up converter. And its not a 32" its a 47" 1080p LCD. So, why wouldn't the HD be noticeable in a 'smaller' TV. I'm curious...

360s upconverter sucks. bigger tv, lower resolution, less picture quality. bigger the tv gets the more it has to stretch. it's noticable on smaller tvs but not as much so as when you start getting into the larger monitors. i couldn't tell a difference between 720 and 1080 on my old 32
