    Congrats! Nice numbers.

My probe is fast. How fast? Line up next to me at the track and find out.
I can pull my probe faster than most ricers can race. haha

I know the tranny was working this afternoon at like 3pm(at least it was allowing to move under its own power). I love open DP turbo cars 🙂

                PM me for:
                Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                Diesel repairs or performance products.

Its perfectly driveable. 3rd gear synchro is notchy sometimes it works, sometimes it dont.

                        Nick thats pretty dirty...

I got a ride in it the other day and didnt seem like a good powerband for a street car. Just my opinion.. Maybe it needs to rev to 9000+

so far of the evo's you have turbo'd I'd say joes has the best powerband for street driving.

Yeah it is dirty, so clean it thats your job :-p.

Stock evo trans are just way to short to make use of big power IMO. His setup on the dyno makes full boost @ 5200 and he's reving to 8k. Joes does have a good powerband but @ the same time that setup is pretty much maxed out. Then again he also lost a bunch of mph going back to the stock trans.

Now that i think of it its not gonna stay clean for more then a day anyways. He drives on gravel every day.

i have heard on many of the stock 5 spd evo trannys that the 3rd gear syncro is garbage. and on the MR 6 spd, same goes for 4 gear. my 3rd gear was really notchy when i got it, then after i got the fluids changed it was all down hill from there with both 3rd and 5th. they worked when they wanted to.

a built 2.0 would be good for stretchin gears to 9k, but they are laggy....from what i have heard.
