Well after another week of work, I think it is about ready for duty! I have wired it for AC (also picked up a cheapy generator), and have tested and made the pre-existing DC setup workable as well. I plan to use the AC for the most part, but have made some wires with alligator clips to go from the inside hookup to a car battery if necessary. I put 2 different AC light sockets inside, with one light socket having a plug in that I will use a power strip for. The generator is good to 1000 watts, however I plan to use it to about 500 max. The 2 bulbs combined draw 28 watts, so I don't think it should be much of an issue.

I have also created 'sleeves' for the holes. I got crafty with some 5 gallon buckets from Home Depot (50% off ROCKED!). It took 2 buckets to make 1 sleeve. I cut the bottoms off both buckets, then turned one bucket upside down and slid it onto the other bucket then cut to fit the depth needed. This resulted in the 20" sleeve necessary to seal from the ice to the fish house. SLICK!

We plan to take it out deer hunting in 2 weeks and use it for our sleeping/drinking quarters... This will give me a good idea on how much propane I will need for a weekend (hoping to use a 'gas grill' tank vs. filling and leaving the 100lb at the house for the winter) and how well the generator works.
