Goddamn if i'm not disappointed at all with the ending. I don't think I've been this avid while watching anything but a live fight ever.

seriously, even if you're not a fan of MMA, watch this fight.

Wow, Cote was making a good fight out of it. I would have guessed Silva would have just walked through him. Too bad about the leg injury, it would hve been fun to see them finish.

The fight was a farce. I was expecting alot more from Silva.

I'm surprised Cote did as well as he did Silva didn't really hurt him, would have been a great fight. It was probably a setup though the rematch pay-per-view will bring in lots of $$$.

silva is like fedor. If he respects the other fighter, he doesn't destroy them. Anderson was using Cote to demonstrate both his own skill, and cote's resolve.

A perfect example of this is Fedor vs. Cro-cop. Fedor lets it go to decision so he doesn't have to humilate what he considers a "worthy" opponent. Quite possibly the only fight that fedor varies from his standard routine.

Silva knows he's better, but doesn't want to discourage a younger fighter.

I understand him not wanting to discourage younger fighters but to let them think because they arent getting pummeled that they are the same caliber as the seasoned fighters is dangerous to the very guys like Cote. The next fighter hes up against will not be so...... gentle with him. Not to mention that the chance that Cote could get a lucky shot and take the win from Silva. To do that would be an unimaginable loss based on true arrogance.
