^ no it won't. Microsoft will fix the R.R.of D. defect for free now. Just call them up and tell them you got it and they will mail you the box/packing/pre-paid and they will fix it for free. Couple of my friends have had that happen this year and got it fixed...so basically no need to get a new one.

hhhmm thats weird cuz my warranty expired and they told me it would cost 100 bucks? so do u guys have the number to call? Wo1f i will go home and give them a call up. if they can fix it for free no charge i will just do that sry. but if its going to cost me 100 i will buy yours for 150 and i will a little more for shipping

Ahhh lol well idk i bought it in like 06 when they came out then the summer of 07 i sent it in with warranty because i had the ring of death an now i got it again and i have done the towel trick like 7 times and now i cant get it... so u just going to try that or u actually going to fix it lol
