I debated on getting the unthrottle package but after seeing that speed Im going to have to upgrade....the 10mb service that I went with still way faster then shitty cableone, plus having newsgroups back is nice...now I just need a few more hardrives to store all the crap im dling

^^ I tried again just now (4 am) and my numbers were slightly better at just under 5 and just under 2. (again, wireless)

I believe the package is IdeaONE's 10 mb/s package, $25/month (room mate pays so im not 100%, I'll ask tomorrow). I think the big factor is our location. I'm on the corner of 45th and 32nd in newer apartment buildings that apparently have a fiber optic connection to Ideaone down 32nd. This is coming from the lady who sold us the place so it could be utter BS.

I guess it's fine for now, I need a real connection so I can download movies again with a little more freedom. Even though, I have gotten DVD screeners of Transporter 3 and Eagle Eye so all in all not to bad.

Cableone's 8mb connection at my place...through wireless as well so that may have slowed it down a bit.
