thanks for the info. but i already know this lol. well yes there are guys that dont have problems and there are guys that do. actually the kia axles are smaller they just have a bigger spline count, and the only thing stronger about the tranny is the case. witch is one of the biggest problems with ruined gearboxes. but up here it isnt very easy to find the intermediate shaft for the kia gearbox. and yes im going full poly everything to help with wheel hop. but sweet to know someone else knows about this. and im gettin me an helical lsd from mfactory. like you said the tranny isnt that bad, but at the same time isnt that great. oh ic you have an mx-3, whats it got in it.

finally got things figured out with paypal and turbo is on its way
next purchase most likely gona be pistons, rods. oh any recomendations on where to take the block to? i was probably just going to go to m&j. any idea on cost for it to get bored out .20 , cleaned, deck checked for trueness, crank balanced, freeze plugs and whatnot. and dont worry i will be using arp main studs.:) -
I have a KLDE out of a probe in the mx-3. I have to finish putting the headers in to finish up the exhaust. I have a B6T sitting in my garage, but I don't think I should say what that is for, might get some funny looks.
I figured you knew all that stuff about the trannies, but figured I should through it out there just in case. If you think the G-series tranny is not very strong, you should see what the festiva guys are doing to the E-series tranny (which came stock in the festiva, and is alot weaker).
