Buddy called me just after 8 saying he was stuck on amber valley parkway in front of pracs. So, being the good friend I am I got dressed to go pull him out... Got through the 3' drift outside my garage fine but the first option to get out of my apartment was blocked by a car that's apparently been there since early this morning because its damn near buried. The other route has a rock hard 4' drift running about 60' down the road. Got stuck in that one temporarily until I was able to rock it out onto the neighbors lawn.
Fuck, this storm is officially throwin down finally.

well, i said i hope it snows like a *ucker, lol well i ain't gettin out of my garage anytime soon, i have a 5 foot drift in front of the door. lol time to start shoveling.

LOL, I wish i could get to work, id be able to load up a skidsteer on a trailer and nab a truck. otherwise im screwed till the storm ends. They want me to clear the lot at my work, and i cant even get out of my garage!!!!

I am at -work- migrating a customer network right now. It took me 20 mins to get from my house in Moorhead to the Multiband tower. I had a 5ft drift in my driveway I had to bust through and barely beat them closing the gates on i94.

I'm seriously thinking about just remoting in tomorrow instead of trying to go out in this shit. Guess we'll see what a buddy decides.
I really don't think they'll be here to clean out the apartment lot until tonight at the earliest - and its going to take at minimum a skidsteer to dig the one car out of the driveway.

I'm actually doing a physical migration on to new hardware for Multiband themselves. Had to be done on site. The nice part I guess, is that due to the bad weather they have closed their call center today so there won't be any issues with users being around.
